I started out studying things in the psychic realm when I was about eleven. I remember reading a kids magazine that had an article about the I Ching. I made my own set of sticks for it and found some success. Around this time I discovered using pendulums for divination and found a link to my own subconscious mind.
As a teenager living in the country, I used to ride the bus for over an hour to get to and from school. To pass the time I started hypnotizing some of the boys on the bus and getting them to do silly things. One time I had problems waking someone up from their trance and I started to panic which didn’t help since my voice was breaking due to hormones and I couldn’t relax. The bus driver and other riders threatened to tell the principal, and I eventually relaxed enough to get them awake. I got in a little trouble for that but that worked out for me in the end because none of my teachers would look me in the eye or argue with me so I got exactly what I wanted. Eventually I learned that I had a gift and started developing it. In my late teens and early twenties I began studying other forms of divination including various types of horoscopes, runes, tarot, palmistry, tea leaf readings, etc. Along the way I dabbled in just about every religion in the world, even in some that had been dead for over a thousand years. This allowed me to be more open to the energies of the world around me.
